Right in the town of Breil, just a short walk away is one of the best Boulangeries in the area.
Turn Right out of the driveway, Left at the next street and follow it across the crossroads with the war memorial. The Boulangerie is on the left.

Closed Mondays. Open every other morning and late afternoon. Parcay-les-Pins also has a Post Office and a Café.
Head South out of Breil, past the Chateau and follow signs to Parcay-les-Pins.

Head North out of Breil towards Noyant. go straight across at the first roundabout in Noyant, left at the T junction (in the small square) and then first right.

Great for a Sunday as the shops and cafes on the main street are open, all overlooked by the imposing chateau fortress.
Tuesday - Bourgueil
A favourite, a bustling market with a great atmosphere in a pretty town. Plenty of places for coffee and lunch. Try the seafood Paella from Faust the fishmonger, take it home and enjoy later with fresh crusty bread and a glass of rosé.
Thursday - Chinon
On the banks of the Vienne and overlooked by the imposing medieval fortress.
Friday - Noyant
A small market, but what you see is pretty much how it is all year round, so authentic.
Saturday - Saumur
The biggest in the area, food stalls set up around Place St Pierre and other stalls cascading into the side streets. Plenty of places to sip a drink and watch the world go by.
